Imran Khan as the Prime Minister of Pakistan

After 22 years of enormous struggle, this iron-willed individual, is bringing something new and something that has never been brought before:
” We will run Pakistan like it has never been run before”, this is what Imran Khan said during his first televised speech after his party, on July 25th, won the election.
Furthermore, he unveiled a blueprint for a “New Pakistan”, as summarised below, similar to what Jinnah’s vision was (Jinnah was an Indian politician who successfully campaigned for an independent Pakistan, became its first leader and the creator of Pakistan):
1. Malnourished kids would have enough food.
2. Poor farmers would get more cash.
3. The rich would pay taxes.
4. Corruption would end.
5. Terrorism would stop.
6. Minorities would feel safe.
7. And Pakistan would get along with everybody—even archival India.
For Pakistan and the world, where Pakistan has around 200 million people, more than Saudi Arabia and Iran combined, it’s an inspiring message with the potential to reshape global politics.
Imran Khan, with more star power, mystique and charisma, is being seen as capable of bringing change to the country’s narrative. There is one thing in this man that is remarkable, his tremendous capacity to persist.
Any person wanting to be a politician, in his position, would have given up politics at some point and would have been living in the UK or Dubai watching cricket in a luxurious property, without having to go through a divorce with, a friendly person, Jemima Goldsmith:

Jemima converted to Islam, a few months before her wedding, citing the writings of Charles le Gai Eaton, Muhammad Asad and Alija Izetbegović as her influences. She then relocated, after her marriage, to Khan’s hometown in Lahore (Pakistan). She started wearing traditional Pakistani clothes, as well as learning and speaking in Urdu; where she over-conformed in her eagerness to be admitted into the much different, new to her, culture of Pakistan. She even over-conformed in her eagerness to be accepted into the “new and radically different culture” of Pakistan. Later on, Jemima went back from Lahore to live in London as it was “difficult for her to adapt to the political life of Imran Khan in Pakistan”; they parted in 2005. Despite being separated, Jemina wrote on a social media platform:
Mr Khan appears to have maintained a cordial relationship with his ex-wife Jemima.
The tale of Imran Khan’s triumph, will in no time become a motivational tale for youngsters in Pakistan; giving them courage, impulse and hope by learning that politics and premierships are not only for feudal rulers or veteran politicians but also for those who persist and do not surrender to the pressure, like a soldier:
Pakistan has seen 11 general elections to date and corruption has been a significant issue in each one of them.
Leaders have lost power due to their corruption issues; a recent example is a recent prime minister Nawaz Sharif, who had to reluctantly step down as prime minister, together with his family members, after his name appeared in the Panama Papers scandal.

Mr Khan, having dominated the election, has partnered with several smaller parties to form a majority in the parliament; this was after he vowed not to ally with the larger politically corrupt parties to become prime minister.

It is indeed heartening to note a new party under new leadership has emerged breaking old feudalistic tentacles and dynasty politics in Pakistan. Imran Khan founded the party in 1996 and step by step progressed over the last 22 years and reached the present stage. The youth force was and is his mainstay.
The world is eager to see how much Imran Khan, during his tenure, can succeed in implementing his campaign pledges and improving the economic condition of Pakistan.
