Silicone Ducting is a very versatile product to work with, offering excellent resistance from a wide range of chemicals and extremes of temperature; silicone’s strong rubber-type nature makes it liquid resistant and has good pressure handling capabilities. Ducts with materials coated in silicone have multiple characteristics; For example, silicone-coated glass fibre fabric materials are integral to most high-temperature hoses and ducting.
Silicone Ducting – Master Sil 1 and Master Sil 2Master Sil ducting with sprung steel wire internal support are very flexible and helps prevent these duct from sagging. Master Sil uses glass fibre materials coated with silicone to give excellent temperature resistance from -70°C up to 250°C and above; Sil 1 and Sil 2 will continue working with temperatures that intermittently reach 300°C. Master Sil’s are excellent for many applications, including air/brake ducts in car engines, railway carriage HVAC systems, steam vents on industrial washing machines, chemical solvent and toxic fume venting. Master Sil’s are also excellent for transporting hot or cold media and where dust and toxic fumes need handling. Available in 4m lengths |
Silicone Ducting – Master Clip SiliconeSilicone Ducting with coated glass fibre material gives excellent solvent, chemical and temperature resistance from -60°C up to 300°C and intermittently up to 350°C. External galvanised steel wire support (external helix) helps protect the hose from scuff damage, for example dragging on the floor or against a wall; the extreme flexibility of the hose, thanks to the external helix and soft materials, allows it to collapse lengthwise by up to 3 to 4 times.
Available in custom lengths up to 25m |
Single-ply silicone-coated glass fabric, flexible ducting hose; reinforced internally with steel wire helix and external glass cord.
Double Layered, Mechanically Robust, up to +250 °C - conveyance of air/gas; good for manufacturing industries.
